Trump's attorneys and prosecutors argue over 2020 social media and 'lock him up' posts. What you missed on trial Day-2. (PART-2)

The lawyers probed the pool to determine whether jurors read The New York Times or watched CNN to assess their knowledge and opinions on Trump's New York charges and other legal issues.

Another Harlem-born teacher claimed she ignores politics and media. She stated she doesn't have strong opinions on Trump, but her friends of color do. She did praise him as a “who speaks his mind.”

Another juror said he lived on a lake without Wi-Fi between February and March. “Knowing this was going to happen, I really tried not to hear about this case, and I blocked the news,” the person stated. She was hit by Trump lawyers.

One juror quit Twitter after two days and does not tweet. Another stated she wanted to delete her Facebook page because its political posts didn't reflect her values. One Hell's Kitchen resident from Mexico stated he wasn't responsible for his Facebook friends' opinions. “Feelings are not facts,” he said.

Jurors may have written or republished posts. The materials prompted Trump's lawyer to constantly question the jurors, particularly regarding Occupy Democrats' Facebook posts that one lady claimed not to be responsible for and said she couldn't remove.

A 2020 tweet about an Election Day celebration in the city, a Democratic stronghold, prompted questions about increased prejudices that could sway jurors.

Overt comments were also made. A potential juror posted, “Republicans projected to pick up 70 seats in prison.” Blanche said that she lost sleep Monday night about whether she could assess the case fairly, saying the prosecution and defense had “a fair bit of colloquy” with her.

He maintained that the post was still relevant despite its age. “The trial evidence will be six years old,” he remarked. Merchan dismissed a jury who said “lock him up,” a phrase linked with Trump, who led a similar cry about Hillary Clinton during his 2016 presidential campaign.
