Ming’s Chinese Chicken Salad Recipe: The Perfect Blend of Flavor

Ming's Chinese Chicken Salad is a delightful fusion of flavors and textures, combining crisp vegetables, tender chicken, and a zesty dressing. Here's how you can create this perfect blend of flavor at home:

For the salad: – 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast – 4 cups mixed salad greens (such as romaine, iceberg, and spinach), washed and chopped – 1 cup shredded cabbage – 1 cup shredded carrot – 1/2 cup sliced cucumber

– 1/4 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper – 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion – 1/4 cup chopped cilantro – 1/4 cup chopped roasted peanut – 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional) – Salt and pepper to taste

For the dressing: – 3 tablespoons soy sauce – 2 tablespoons rice vinegar – 1 tablespoon honey – 1 tablespoon sesame oil – 1 clove garlic, minced – 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger – 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce (optional, for a spicy kick)

1. Start by cooking the chicken breasts. Season them with salt and pepper, then grill or pan-sear until cooked through. Once cooked, let them cool slightly before slicing them thinly or shredding them into bite-sized pieces.

. In a large mixing bowl, combine the salad greens, shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, sliced red bell pepper, sliced green onions, and chopped cilantro. Toss everything together until well mixed.

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and Sriracha sauce (if using) to make the dressing.

. Once the salad is dressed, sprinkle the chopped roasted peanuts and sesame seeds (if using) over the top for added crunch and flavor.
