Renee Zellweger will reprise Bridget Jones in a fourth film.

Coming soon is a new chapter in the "Bridget Jones" series. A fourth episode of the much-loved film series is going to be released, according to an announcement made by Universal Pictures.

"Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy" is the title of the most recent installment in the "Bridget Jones" adventure series. Similar to the first two films in the series, the fourth feature will be based from one of Helen Fielding's novels, "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy," which was published in 2013. Fielding's novel was published in 2013.

On Valentine's Day in 2025, it is scheduled to make its premiere. At the same time as it will be shown in movie theaters around the world, the movie will also be broadcast on Peacock in the United States.

The all-star cast will include a few new characters in addition to a few faces that are already well-known. The most crucial thing to note is that Renée Zellweger will be playing the role of Bridget Jones once more.

In addition, Hugh Grant will reprise his role as Daniel Cleaver, a prior romantic interest of Bridget's whose history is fraught with complexities. During the film "Bridget Jones's Baby," everyone believed that Daniel had passed away; however, viewers eventually discovered that he was, in fact, still alive.

This time around, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leo Woodall will introduce themselves to the audience, but the names of their characters have not yet been disclosed.

The film will be directed by Michael Morris, who also directed "To Leslie," and Fielding will act as an executive producer, along with a number of other producers and executive producers participating in the production.

During an interview with Radio Times, she stated, "Yeah, I'm working on it, and I really hope that it will result in something." "It is a marvel that each and every film is ever made. I believe that it is quite challenging to create films, to make them happen, and to make them wonderful, both of which are things that we want to be really good. But my sincere wish is that this is the case. I really hope that it is shown on the screen.
