George Kittle optimistic as 49ers have kept offense together "so far"

According to George Kittle, the 49ers' offensive consistency will be a key to their success in 2024.

"Stay healthy, just continue to do our jobs, just try to get a little better every day," Kittle said on the television network. The fact that Brock Purdy is still so young means that he will continue to develop into an even greater quarterback

Our entire offense has remained intact thus far, which is a huge plus because when your offensive line stays together, players become accustomed to playing side by side. So, moving forward, we're hoping our offensive takes another stride.

But, as Kittle points out by saying "so far," before the season begins, anything can happen. Whether or not wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, who appears dissatisfied with his deal, will stay with the 49ers is the biggest unknown.

It is reasonable to question how much longer the 49ers can maintain their entire offense together without Aiyuk's new contract, even if both Lynch and Aiyuk's agent have publicly stated that everything is going well.

Also, as Kittle pointed out, the 49ers are still using the same starting defensive core from the NFC champions of the previous season.

On the defensive side of the ball, when you have Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, [Javon] Hargrave, Charvarius Ward, we have a pretty good defense over there too," said Kittle. "Hopefully we keep playing at a high level."

Adding Aiyuk's contract extension to the list of positive developments in San Francisco would be a huge boost.
