9 things you should never eat with bananas

Milk and Dairy Products: Some people may find it difficult to digest bananas with milk or dairy products like yogurt and cream. This combination can be heavy on the stomach and slow down digestion, potentially leading to discomfort and bloating.

Watermelon: Eating bananas with watermelon might cause stomach pain and other digestive issues because watermelon is mostly water and tends to digest faster than bananas, which are more fibrous.

Cucumber: Similar to watermelon, cucumbers also have a high water content and can lead to gas formation when eaten with bananas.

Cherries: When consumed with bananas, cherries can create acidity in the digestive tract, potentially leading to indigestion or heartburn.

Greens or Lettuce: While eating fruits with greens is generally healthy, some people might experience bloating and indigestion when consuming them with bananas due to the differing digestion times.

Potatoes: Mixing starchy foods like potatoes with bananas can cause digestive issues such as bloating, as both are heavy and take longer to digest.

Sodas and Carbonated Drinks: Drinking soda or carbonated drinks after eating bananas can upset the stomach due to gas formation from the carbonation, which can interact negatively with the sugars present in bananas.

Fatty Foods: High-fat foods can significantly slow down the stomach's emptying, which might delay the digestion of bananas eaten at the same time. This can lead to fermentation of the banana in the gut, causing bloating and gas.

Alcohol: Consuming bananas with alcohol is not a good idea as alcohol can inhibit digestion and cause discomfort. Plus, the high sugar content in bananas can exacerbate the effects of alcohol.
