Monday marks the start of jury selection in the first of four criminal trials against Donald Trump in New York.

Stormy Daniels, an adult film actress, privately claimed during the 2016 election that she had a sexual encounter with Trump while he was married. Cohen bought her “silence and prevent disclosure of the damaging information in the final weeks before the presidential election,” authorities said.
Allen Weisselberg He oversaw the Trump Organization's hush money scandal as CFO. Cohen testified before the House Oversight Committee in 2019 that Weisselberg knew of and helped arrange a $130,000 Stormy Daniels payment.
